This weekend friends and supporters of Sekolah Gunung Merapi are holding the first of several events to help renovate and refurbish our schools prayer space and play area before the new term starts in December.

Anyone with some hands and time to spare are welcome to join and will be greatly appreciated! We’ll also be inviting all volunteers and supporters to come and join us in a group camping trip by the Kali Kuning river near the school on the night of the 26th, and we hear rumours that there may be a surprise BBQ of delicious proportions!

Massive thanks to our amazing friends and supporters Mas Wawan, Mas Sigit, Mas Agung Helm, Mas Adjie Jox, Mbak Tami, Mbak Vida, Mbak Ocha and many many more for instigating and inspiring this amazing event and to everyone that has helped with donations for the materials!
